A lot has happened since January when we issued the last edition of our newsletter. Arguably, the much anticipated general elections stand out among these happenings. Of course, PMF was a part of this watershed event, and in this issue, we bring to you some of the engagements we have had in the past months which we hope would be of interest to you.
Election-Day Report Programme (EDREP)
As part of its focus, PMF gathered journalists from various print, online, and broadcast media houses in Nigeria including Punch Newspapers, Nigerian Tribune, Premium Times, The Cable, Channels Television, and Foundation for Investigative Journalism, Nigeria, for a one-day media development programme on Thursday, February 16, 2023.
The programme tagged Election-Day Reporting Programme (EDREP) was designed to provide select journalists assigned to cover the 2023 general elections with the tools needed to discharge their duties professionally, ethically, and safely. International Women’s Day Celebration
On Wednesday, March 8, 2023, PMF joined the rest of the world to celebrate women’s uniqueness, strength, relevance, and achievements.
In sync with the year’s theme, #EmbraceEquity, a video collage was put together to urge everyone to embrace a more just and inclusive world where both the male and female gender enjoy equal opportunities and the right kind of environment to utilize these opportunities.
Emotional Intelligence and Good Work Ethics Training
PMF held a soft skills training on Stimulating Emotional Intelligence and Good Work Ethics in March 2023.
